Engineering Manager
Lead the platform team building the deployment, workspace and observability layer every Runvo deployment runs on.
The platform team builds the thing that makes Runvo repeatable: the deployment path, the workspace itself, and the observability that lets us evidence what we claim about isolation, availability and where data sits.
Runvo is early and pre-revenue, so the operational bar is being set now rather than inherited. We are looking for someone who wants to keep building while leading, and who treats an on-call rotation as a design signal rather than a staffing problem.
What you will do
- Lead and grow a small, senior platform team
- Own the roadmap for deployment, workspace and observability
- Keep the team close to the firms using it and to the constraints they work under
- Set the operational bar: on-call, incident review, regression tracking
- Stay technical enough to review the hard designs credibly
What we are looking for
- Experience leading infrastructure or platform teams
- A track record of shipping systems that other teams depend on
- You have carried a pager for something you designed
- Clear written communication: most of our decisions live in documents
Nice to have
- Background in ML infrastructure or high-throughput serving
- Experience in an early-stage company where the roadmap changed often
